Dear SACA Leadership,
With the tremendous uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, we have decided to move the 2020 Student Leadership Conference to a virtual format. ACA reviewed and assessed all possibilities for hosting this event. After surveying potential attendees, researching local regulations, conferring with NCMIC (our corporate host) and the host hotel, we came to the conclusion that this would be the safest and most effective path forward.
Though we understand there will be disappointment around the inability to gather in person, this new opportunity will allow even more SACA students to take part in an interactive and inclusive event.
The conference may look different this year, but the LC tradition will continue. SACA is creative, innovative and incredibly resilient. Personally, I cannot wait to experience the amazing connections we all will build with one another this September. We will all come together and make this year's Leadership Conference the strongest yet.
The dates of the conference have not changed. The virtual event will still be held Sept 11-13, 2020. Please stay tuned for updated registration information.
