The annual Student Leadership Conference is an important weekend of education, networking, and collaboration for the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA).

The Leadership Conference is a gathering of student leaders from multiple SACA chapters who are eager to learn from the chiropractic profession’s top minds. Attendees will leave the conference inspired to make a difference within the healthcare system, the chiropractic profession, and their student groups on each respective campus.

Inclement Weather Policy 

ACA conferences, including the SACA Leadership Conference, will be cancelled due to inclement weather or any other occurrence beyond the parties’ control, only if the venue and/or location of the event is closed, provides notice to ACA of its inability to hold the event, or if a local government-declared emergency status is in effect for the location of the event. These events include, but are not limited to, floods, fire, or natural disasters. If an ACA conference is cancelled due to inclement weather or other occurrences beyond the parties’ control as set forth herein, every attempt will be made to reschedule the event and your registration fee will be applied to the rescheduled event date. Any travel expenses that may have been incurred cannot be refunded under any circumstances. If the event is held but weather conditions (whether forecasted or actualized) prohibit you from traveling, ACA cannot refund your registration fee.

Please be advised that photographs and videos will be taken at this event for use on ACA website, marketing materials and other Association publications. By registering for this event, you consent to the Association photographing, filming, and using your image and likeness.

Who can attend the SACA Leadership Conference?

Each SACA chapter will be able to submit six individuals to attend the event. Two names may also be submitted for the waitlist. Submitted individuals must be SACA members in good standing.

 

When is the SACA Leadership Conference?

The conference will be held Friday, Sept. 27 – Sunday, Sept. 29 at Parker University in Dallas, Texas.

 

Where is the conference hotel?

Your conference registration includes two nights lodging at the Aloft Las Colinas Hotel Dallas – arriving on Friday, Sept. 27 and departing on Sunday, Sept. 29. Do not contact the hotel directly to book your room. Your room will be booked by ACA staff and your confirmation will be emailed to you.

Attendees are responsible for their own travel to Dallas as well as transportation between the airport and the hotel.

 

What is the deadline to register?

The Early Bird registration ($195 per person) ends at 5 p.m. ET, Sunday, June 30, 2024. After this date, rates increase to $215. Registration closes completely after Friday, July 26, 2024.

 

Will the schedule be posted online?

Yes, information on conference sessions and speakers can be found online, so please check the website for updates.

 

What is the refund and cancellation policy?

Registration cancellation and refund requests must be received by Friday, July 26, 2024, to be eligible for a refund and are subject to a cancellation fee of $75. Requests received after this date will not be accepted. Refunds will be processed after the close of the conference. Please allow up to six weeks for the refund to be issued.
