Awards
ACA presents the following awards each year at ACA Engage in Washington, D.C.
Chiropractor of the Year – The award recognizes exceptional service, achievement and/or leadership to the chiropractic profession and its patients.
Humanitarian of the Year – The award recognizes someone in the chiropractic community who has shown dedication and action toward reducing human suffering and protecting human dignity, such as helping others in crisis.
Delegate of the Year & Alternate Delegate of the Year – The awards recognize a member of the ACA House of Delegates who has demonstrated exceptional service, achievement and leadership to the association. All voting House members, excluding Board of Governors, are eligible for the awards. Non-delegates who win the award will be referred to by their specific title.
George B. McClelland Researcher of the Year – The award recognizes exceptional progress in developing, refining expanding the body of knowledge in chiropractic through research.
Academician of the Year – The award recognizes exceptional service, achievement and leadership to the chiropractic profession and its patients through academic and educational excellence.
Flynn/Lynch Sr. Memorial Award – The award recognizes a member of the ACA House of Delegates with less than five years of service who has demonstrated exceptional service, achievement and leadership to the association.
All nominees must be an active member of ACA.
