Texas Chiropractic Association (TCA) Legislative Day

TCA Legislative Day is held during legislative session years. In addition to unifying Texas chiropractors, TCA Legislative Day seeks to educate elected officials and staff about the importance of neuromusculoskeletal health and the benefits of chiropractic care and its natural, whole-person, patient-centered and drug-free approach to health and wellness. TCA Legislative Day is a day of fun, inspiration and community, and all Texas chiropractors are encouraged to participate.

This presentation will review pathophysiology, etiology, diagnostics, prevention, and treatment options.  This includes the specific topics of components and physiology of bone, risk factors, bone density testing via dual energy x-ray absorptiometry (DXA), first- and second-line laboratory tests, nutrition, exercise, bone-wasting and skeletal enhancing medications, natural compounds, and proper follow up.
