Caring for the pediatric population requires extra training and study. The ACA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics’ 300-Hour Diplomate Education Program gives Doctors of Chiropractic advanced training to better understand, evaluate and care for pediatric patients from birth through age 16.
Through a flexible combination of online learning, interactive virtual grand rounds and hands-on instruction, you’ll deepen your understanding of normal developmental milestones across body systems while building practical skills you can apply in both chiropractic and integrative care settings.
Advanced Education Designed to Fit Your Practice
- Complete 250 of the 300 hours online, at your own pace, with support along the way.
- Finish the coursework in approximately 17–20 months.
- Join quarterly virtual grand rounds with ACA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics instructors and fellow Diplomate students to discuss case studies, explore clinical scenarios and ask questions.
- Put your learning into practice during two in-person classes, where you’ll receive hands-on instruction and strengthen your clinical skills.
- Keep travel and time away from your practice to a minimum, thanks to the program’s primarily online format.
- Meet the educational requirement for the American Board of Chiropractic Pediatrics Diplomate Examination by successfully completing the full 300-hour program.
- Join the fourth cohort and get immediate access. The program runs January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2028.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be able to:
- Compare and contrast normal and abnormal development in children from birth through age 16.
- Select appropriate care options, including intra- and interdisciplinary treatment and co-management of complex pediatric conditions, including internal and neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
- Develop appropriate paperwork, research practices and documentation procedures to support compliant pediatric care and reduce the risk of improper denials or malpractice concerns.
- Examine, diagnose and adjust pediatric patients using age-appropriate approaches
