National Chiropractic Health Month (NCHM) kicks off Oct. 1! Whether you have five minutes or want to plan activities throughout October, ACA has resources to make participating easy.
This year’s theme, “Joint Efforts,” highlights the importance of lifelong joint health and the benefits of chiropractic’s evidence-based, nondrug approach to musculoskeletal health and wellness.
Start by visiting the NCHM 2026 toolkit at acatoday.org/NCHMtoolkit. You’ll find the NCHM logo, key messages, social media graphics and captions, infographics and other ready-to-use resources, as well as a sample promotional plan with ideas for getting involved.
Choose Your Level of Participation
Keep it simple. Short on time? Post the NCHM logo on Oct. 1 and let your followers know that October is National Chiropractic Health Month.
Do a little more. Select several NCHM graphics, infographics and captions from the toolkit and schedule posts throughout October.
Go all in. Use NCHM as an opportunity to engage your patients, colleagues or community. Give a talk, display NCHM materials in your clinic, create your own social media videos using the NCHM key messages, participate in a community event or promote an NCHM proclamation.
Your #JointEfforts can be as simple—or as ambitious—as you want them to be!
An Easy Four-Week NCHM Plan
Not sure where to start? Here’s one simple way to keep NCHM visible throughout October:
Oct. 1: Announce National Chiropractic Health Month on your social media channels. Post the NCHM logo – or a photo of you with your clinic staff – with a message such as:
National Chiropractic Health Month begins Oct. 1 and will highlight the importance of lifelong joint health. Make your own #JointEfforts and learn more at handsdownbetter.org/NCHM.
Week 1: Post the NCHM press release on your website as a blog and encourage your followers to learn more about joint and musculoskeletal health. Then, share one or two NCHM social media graphics and captions. Remember to use #JointEfforts.
Week 2: Post two or three social media graphics and captions.
Week 3: Share one or more of ACA’s research or opioid-related infographics with your followers.
Week 4: Wrap up the month with additional graphics or create a “Did you know?” post using information from the NCHM key messages.
Social media is only one way to participate. In past years, chiropractors have displayed NCHM signage in their clinics, given talks, created videos and participated in community activities. Chiropractic students, state associations and other organizations have found their own ways to spread the word, too.
Businesses that work with the chiropractic profession can also participate by incorporating NCHM into their October communications and showing their support for chiropractic and musculoskeletal health.

New Mexico’s 2025 Proclamation
Many chiropractors and students have been working to secure NCHM proclamations in their states and communities. If you receive a proclamation, share a photo on social media and tag @acatoday so ACA can see—and potentially repost—your accomplishment.
Whatever you do for NCHM, use the hashtag #JointEfforts and tag @acatoday. ACA will be watching throughout October for creative ways members of the chiropractic community are participating.
You can also send photos and information about your NCHM activities to communications@acatoday.org so your efforts can inspire others.
Follow @acatoday and @handsdownbetter on Instagram for NCHM content throughout the month.
