North Dakota Chiropractic Association Joins ACA State Affiliate Program

Arlington, Va.—The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) recently welcomed the North Dakota Chiropractic Association as its newest state affiliate. The ACA State Affiliate Program enables state chiropractic associations to collaborate more closely with ACA for the advancement of the chiropractic profession.

North Dakota is the twelfth state to join the affiliate program, which also includes state associations representing doctors of chiropractic in California, Connecticut, Indiana, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Texas.

Affiliate states, while maintaining their own separate governance, benefit by having a seat in the ACA House of Delegates, where their representative can vote and participate in shaping ACA policy. They also have access to a wide range of ACA advocacy tools and information as well as membership resources.

“ACA looks forward to working more closely with the North Dakota Chiropractic Association to advance key initiatives that will benefit our respective members and their patients,” said ACA President Michele Maiers, DC, MPH, PhD.

“We’re confident collaborating with ACA through the State Affiliate Program will enhance our efforts to advance chiropractic and provide value to our members,” said NDCA President Zachary Smith, DC.

Membership in the State Affiliate Program is available at no cost to any state chiropractic association that wishes to work collaboratively with ACA to advance the chiropractic profession. To learn more, click here.
