Monkeypox

CDC Offers Monkeypox Information for Healthcare Providers

American Chiropractic Association (ACA) members promote behaviors that contribute to the control of infectious diseases and the advancement of practices that enhance individual health and well-being. To that end, ACA suggests members visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website to familiarize themselves with information on the monkeypox virus, which has been identified in several U.S. states. In addition to sharing details on monkeypox signs and symptoms, how the virus spreads and prevention, CDC is urging healthcare providers to be alert for patients who have rash illnesses consistent with monkeypox.
