The House of Representatives passed a massive annual bill on Dec. 2 authorizing funding for national defense projects and containing a provision directing the Pentagon to conduct a study on the feasibility of providing chiropractic services to military retirees. ACA has championed this issue for several years and is encouraged by this latest move to further integrate the chiropractic benefit in the military health care system. The bill now goes to the Senate, where passage is expected, and then on to the president’s desk for signature.
