ACA-PAC is the voice of the ACA and doctors of chiropractic in the political arena. It consists of ACA chiropractors from across the country who are active members in local and federal politics.

Its mission is to elect, support, and build relationships with pro-chiropractic members of Congress and candidates to the U.S. Congress through grassroots activities, communications and direct financial contributions. ACA-PAC is entirely funded by contributions from ACA members.

The role and responsibilities for the committee members include:

1. Solicit and raise funds from peers and colleagues who are dues paying-members of the ACA

  • Each member is expected to raise at least $10,000/year
  • Each member is expected to be a member of the PAC Chairman’s Club, which starts at contributions of $35/month or $420 annually

2. Support, promote and contribute to national elected public officials, national political parties and candidates for federal public office, in the legislative branch.

  • Each candidate contribution from the ACA-PAC must be approved with a majority vote of the committee that takes place during meetings and/or via email

3. Regularly attend monthly meetings via conference call, or in person when feasible

4. Ideal candidates are politically engaged with a record of maintaining relationships with members of Congress and experience in fundraising

Interested parties should send a CV and letter of interest to Karen Silberman, ACA executive vice president, at [email protected]. All interested parties will be reviewed by the ACA Nominations Committee. Dr. Ray Tuck, chairman of the ACA Board of Governors, will make the appointment.
