Matt Burnett, DC, CCSMS, is the founder and CEO of Legacy Lyfe, a concierge physician to hundreds of professional athletes and a certified chiropractic sports medicine specialist. He is highly respected for his integrated, collaborative approach to treating patients and has grown a loyal and diverse following over his almost 20-year career. Dr. Burnett has an extensive background in epigenetics, cellular biology, and anti-aging protocols. He sits on multiple advisory boards related to physical and anti-aging medicine, is regarded as a leader in the longevity and anti-aging space and his protocols are utilized all over the world.
At ACA, Dr. Chapman serves on the Public Health Advisory Board and as vice chair of the Code Utilization and Application Subcommittee, which is part of the Health Policy and Advocacy Committee. In 2024, she was selected to be an ACA Health Policy Fellow.
Before joining AHRQ, Dr. Chapman was a practicing clinician for over 20 years with additional training in
acupuncture and chiropractic for pregnant people. She has served as a peer reviewer for many conferences and
journals and is a frequent conference presenter. She has held leadership roles in state and national professional
associations, including the American Public Health Association and the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association. She completed a practicum at the RAND Research Across Complementary and Integrative Health Institutions (REACH) Center, and in 2023 was selected as a participant in the MAR-PHTC Public Health Leadership Institute.
Dr. Duffy supports a large chiropractic practice specializing in soft tissue cases and sports medicine, and is a
chiropractic consultant for multiple universities, colleges and high schools. He has been the official team
chiropractor for Lehigh University, a Division 1 athletic program, for 29 years.
He started his career in 1989 in private practice after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic and holds
an undergraduate degree in Biology and Physiology from The Pennsylvania State University. He is a certified
Graston and Kineseotaping provider and was instrumental in establishing treatment protocols for the Palomar
Class IV laser
Jeb McAviney, BSc, MChiro, MPainMed, FCBP, is a chiropractor with special expertise in the clinical management of spinal deformities such as scoliosis and hyperkyphosis. He is the founder and CEO of ScoliCare, a global leader in scoliosis treatment, innovation and education. Dr. McAviney has dedicated over a decade to
understanding and proving the most evidence-based approaches to scoliosis rehabilitation and bracing, leading to the development of ScoliBalance®, a physiotherapeutic scoliosis-specific exercise program, and ScoliBrace®, a 3D over corrective brace.
Dr. McAviney is an internationally recognized speaker, having presented at chiropractic, medical scientific and orthotic conferences in over 17 countries. He has published research in numerous journals, including the European Spine Journal and the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, and has presented research at the Interntional Society on Scoliosis Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Treatment (SOSORT), the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) and the World Federation of Chiropractic Congress, among others.
Dr. McAviney is on the SOSORT board as well as the society’s scientific committee. He holds a Master of
Chiropractic and a Master of Pain Medicine and has completed the World Master in Scoliosis Management via
ISICO.
Brendan McCann, DC, PSP, is experienced in clinical spine care and is on a mission to improve accessibility of high-value healthcare, especially among under-recognized health conditions. Dr. McCann earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northeast College of Health Science in 2015 and works at Cape Integrative Health near Portland, Maine.
Todd E. Riddle, DC, CCSP, RKT, CSCS, ISCS, FAKTR, is a clinician specializing in sports chiropractic and physical rehabilitation. He is a faculty member at Texas Chiropractic College and is director of education for Southeast Professional Education Group, teaching FAKTR and Dynamic Tape.
Dr. Riddle has two decades of experience in the field of athletic and human performance, and has coached and trained thousands, ranging from amateur athletes to professional athletes including Olympic medalists and members of the NFL, NBA, NHL, PGA, LPGA and MLB. In 2018, he was the official sports chiropractor for the Nigerian women’s bobsleigh and skeleton teams at the Pyeong Chang Winter Olympics, and in 2021, toured with the Australian bobsleigh and skeleton on the World Cup circuit. He also served as the sports chiropractic delegate for the World Games in July 2022.
Dr. Riddle has presented all over North America, Europe, Africa, Australia and Asia, and has served as a reviewer for scientific articles and books, and chapters related to sports medicine and rehabilitation. He earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, with a concentration in Kinesiotherapy from the University of Toledo while competing as a two-sport athlete.
Over the past six years, he has co-led the Pitt Primary Spine Practitioner certificate program, which brings together physical therapists and chiropractors from around the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East to train as first-contact providers for patients with spinal problems.
Dr. Schneider has a strong record of NIH funding from the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) and the Patient-Centered Outcomes and Research Institute (PCORI) as both principal investigator and co-investigator. He brings existing NIH funding to the Doctor of Chiropractic program to lead chiropractic research and oversee postdoctoral researchers. He has received the Presidential Award and Researcher of the Year Award from the American Chiropractic Association and the Distinguished Service Award from the American Public Health Association’s Chiropractic Care Section. Dr. Schneider received his PhD in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008 and a Certificate in Clinical Research from the Institute for Clinical Research Education in 2009.
Cliff Tao, DC, DACBR, has owned and operated a nationwide private chiropractic radiology practice since 2004. Following graduation from National University of Health Sciences, Dr. Tao completed his three-year full-time chiropractic radiology residency at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (LACC) and then a full-time musculoskeletal radiology research fellowship at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) Medical Center. Dr. Tao was a former volunteer radiology instructor at LACC and UCI Medical Center. He is a sought-after speaker and is published both in chiropractic and medical literature on the topic of chiropractic, spine and musculoskeletal imaging.
Alli Totzke-Hitzeroth, DC, MPP, has been a leader in the profession from early on. She had been involved with professional organizations such a ACA, the World Federation of Chiropractic, Chiro Congress, Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, and the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association. She has engaged with policymakers at all levels, with an extensive background of legislative and advocacy work spanning topics from the Medicare bill, rural healthcare accessibility, nutritional research, and diplomacy. She has often been a voice for change in connecting other chiropractors with roles that fit them well, providing fellowship and guidance to others along the way. She is a graduate of National University of Health Sciences, practices acupuncture and chiropractic in rural Virginia, and works to educate the future of healthcare as an adjunct professor/anatomy instructor at South University.
