In episodes that range from a badly biased and ambiguous report from an otherwise respected organization like the American Stroke Society, to the news media blaming a chiropractic neck adjustment for the tragic death of an internet celebrity, our profession must frequently establish the safety of chiropractic care of cervical spine conditions.  If asked about the possibility of a chiropractic neck adjustment causing a stroke, face the issue head-on in a compassionate and professional way.
