Interprofessional Collaborative Spine Conference (ICSC) 2019

Q: When and where will the conference take place?  
A: The Interprofessional Collaborative Spine Conference (ICSC) 2019 will take place November 8-9, 2019 at the Westin Pittsburgh Hotel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  
 
Q: Who is the audience for ICSC 2019?  
A: The ICSC 2019 program is focused on educating researchers and practitioners from the chiropractic, physical therapy and osteopathic professions.  
 
Q: How can I register? What are the conference rates?  
A:  Attendees can register online or by calling (703) 276-8800. Registration rates and deadlines are available on the conference website.   
 
Q: Am I eligible for the member rate?  
A: If you are a current member of ACA, the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), you are eligible to register at the member rate. Contact your respective membership organization to verify your membership if you have issues registering at the member rate.  
 
Q: What is included in the registration cost?  
A: Conference registration includes all scheduled presentations and panel discussions, breakfast Friday and Saturday, networking lunch event on Friday, and admission to the Friday reception.  
 
Q: How do I book my hotel and what are the rates and deadlines?  
A: ACA has secured a discounted room block for conference attendees at the Westin Pittsburgh Hotel at a rate of $199 per night (plus taxes and fees). You must use this link to make your reservation. Discounted rooms will only be available until October 11, 2019 or until the room block sells out.  
 
Q: Is the conference schedule available?  
A: The full conference schedule is available online. Please note the schedule is subject to change. Changes will be posted online.  
 
Q: Are there opportunities to sponsor the conference?  
A: Yes, your company will have the chance to get in front of three unique audiences in healthcare. If interested in exploring sponsorship opportunities, please contact us.  
 
Q: Can I earn continuing education credits at the conference?  
A:  ACA is committed to offering a high-quality program. CE credits accepted for chiropractic and physical therapy licensure renewal will be available for attendance to ICSC. CME credits accepted for osteopathic licensure renewal are not available. Up to 7 CE credits (or 7 contact hours) will may be earned through attendance to ICSC.  Learn more about whether CE credits are accepted by your state licensing board here.
 
Q: Will I receive a certificate of attendance?  
A:  A certificate of attendance is available upon request by emailing nleisenring@acatoday.org.   
 
Q: What services are available for special needs and requests?  
A: ACA is committed to making the conference accessible to all individuals. Participants with special needs or food restrictions should contact ACA staff by no later than October 11, 2019. Special hotel room accommodations should be handled directly with the hotel.  
 
Q: What is the cancellation and refund policy for the conference?  
A:  Registration, cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing to nleisenring@acatoday.org by September 30, 2019 to be eligible for a refund, and are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. Requests received after this date will not be accepted. Refunds will be processed after the close of the conference. Please allow up to six (6) weeks for the refund to be issued. 
 
Q: Can I get a refund if there is inclement weather?  
A: ACA conferences (including ICSC) will be cancelled due to inclement weather or any other occurrence beyond the parties’ control (including, but not limited to, flood, fire or natural disaster) only if the venue and/or location of the event is closed or provides notice to ACA of its inability to hold the event, or if a local government-declared emergency status is in effect for the location of the event. If an ACA conference is cancelled due to inclement weather or any other occurrence beyond the parties’ control as set forth herein, every attempt will be made to reschedule the event and your registration fee will be applied to the rescheduled event date. Any travel expenses that may have been incurred cannot be refunded under any circumstances. If the ACA event is held but weather conditions (whether forecasted or actualized) prohibit you from traveling, ACA cannot refund your registration fee.
