Dr. Gregg Friedman 

Gregg Friedman, DC, is a second-generation chiropractor and has been practicing in Phoenix, Ariz., since 1987. He has taught documentation to chiropractors for more than 20 years and consults with doctors, lawyers and insurance companies. He reviews between 40 and 70 chiropractic and physical therapy cases each month.


Dr. Greg Kawchuk 

Greg Kawchuk BSc, DC, MSc, PhD, is a full professor in the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta in Canada. Dr. Kawchuk is a Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College graduate who practiced for 15 years in multidisciplinary settings before earning his PhD in bioengineering and becoming a full-time researcher. He was the recipient of the first chiropractic research chair in Canada. In 2004, he was recruited to the University of Alberta as the Canada Research Chair in Spinal Function. Dr. Kawchuk’s research interests are focused on back pain and spine function. His work spans basic science, clinical trials and implementation. Competitive awards from major provincial, national and international funding agencies support Dr. Kawchuk’s work and include CIHR, NSERC and NIH. To date, his work has resulted in more than 160 papers. Dr. Kawchuk is one of three founding members of CARL, the Chiropractic Academy for Research Leadership, a global mentoring program for early-career scientists, and is presently leading the new “GLA:D Back” initiative in Canada.


Dr. Ray Tuck

Ray Tuck, DC, is the president of Tuck Clinic. Dr. Tuck earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Radford University in 1994. After working in his father’s chiropractic clinic and seeing the way patients’ quality of life increased so dramatically, the young Tuck was inspired. He furthered his studies by earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic from National College of Chiropractic. Tuck Clinic has 10 chiropractic practices featuring 18 doctors and multidisciplinary team-based care that integrates primary care, occupational health care and chiropractic care. Tuck is a past president of ACA and of the Virginia Board of Medicine.


Dr. Jennifer Rathmann 

Jennifer Rathmann, DC, serves as Tuck Chiropractic Clinic’s vice president of clinical excellence. She is focused on clinical quality, clinical care development for doctors within the areas of guidelines and standards compliance, documentation, coding and billing, and outcome measures reporting. In addition, Dr. Rathmann coordinates all intra-professional collaborative activities for clinical quality and improvement. She completed her undergraduate degree at State University of New York at Fredonia and completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at National College of Chiropractic. She joined Tuck Chiropractic Clinic in 1999 and sees patients in Southwest Virginia.


Dr. Katie Benson 

Katie Benson, DC, graduated magna cum laude from Cleveland University-Kansas City in August 2017. She is currently an associate chiropractor for MyoCore, a hospital-based chiropractic group in Overland Park, Kansas. She has the honor of serving as an advisor for the SACA Leadership Conference and served on the Executive Board for NextGen ACA over the past year. She has also been a member of the ACA Audit Committee since 2019.


Dr. Nakiesha Pearson 

Nakiesha Pearson, DC, is a graduate of National University of Health Sciences with degrees in Chiropractic Medicine, Naturopathic Medicine, and a master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice.  She is an associate professor in the NUHS department of Clinical Sciences, with additional appointments in the department of Allied Health’s Massage Therapy and Post-professional Programs.  In addition to her degrees, she has completed a standardized patient education certificate program in support of her primary teaching role of providing simulated patient encounters for students. She is a member of ACA’s Committee on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, as well as a member of the Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical College’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee.


Dr. Stephen Laski

Stephen Laski, DC, is the co-founder of Forward Spine and Sport, a Boston-based chiropractic and acupuncture clinic that focuses on education, empowerment, movement and community to help people with pain and injuries on their path to recovery while getting back to activities they love. Before opening Forward Spine and Sport, Dr. Laski worked with World Spine Care, a charitable organization providing high-quality spine care in underserved areas around the world. Steve has served as a clinical supervisor for World Spine Care’s Dominican Republic clinic, and most recently as the clinical coordinator for the Botswana program in Africa. He has also worked in private practice in New York, and Durham, N.C. Steve is passionate about learning new ways to help people. He is a certified Primary Spine Provider through the University of Pittsburgh, School of Health and Rehabilitation Services, and is always looking for new information to absorb. Movement is a foundational part of Steve’s life. He loves to spend time doing Crossfit-style workouts, traditional strength training and hiking.
