This webinar will show the biomechanical changes in the lumbar spine segmental levels when flexion distraction spinal manipulation is delivered. Real time footage of the spine facet joint and intervertebral foraminal alteration as well as intradiscal pressure measurements, disc space increase and afferentation will be shown and discussed.
This is a federally funded studied performed at Loyola Medical Center, Hines VA hospital, National and Palmer Colleges of Chiropractic in the biomechanical spine changes under Cox flexion distraction spinal manipulation. The actual research study performed at Hines VA hospital will be shown.
Hands on application of the distraction forces measured in Newtons and/or pounds will be demonstrated as the following spine conditions are treated – intervertebral contained and non-contained disc herniation, spinal stenosis, degenerative scoliosis, synovial cyst, degenerative spondylolisthesis and other conditions as time of 50 minutes allows.
