ACA and Dynamic Chiropractic to Stream NCLC Live, Online March 7
Arlington, Va.—The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) today announced that the General Session of the 2013 National Chiropractic Legislative Conference (NCLC) and Educational Symposium will—for the first time—be streamed live online from the Capital Hilton ballroom.
Those unable to attend NCLC will be able to watch the inspiring speeches by chiropractic’s supporters in Congress and friends of the profession as they happen on either ACA’s website at www.acatoday.org, or Dynamic Chiropractic’s homepage at www.dynamicchiropractic.com.
NCLC’s general session will take place on Thursday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (EST). Featured speakers include:
- Keynote speaker Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fla.), chair of the Special Senate Committee on Aging and senior member of the Armed Services Committee
- Don Barrett, producer and director of the upcoming PBS documentary “Pain in America: The Silver Tsunami”
- Rep. Gregg Harper (R-Miss.), a senior member of the Energy and Commerce committee
- Jeff Hays, producer of the documentary film “Doctored”
- Rep. Dave Loebsack (D-Iowa), a member of the House Armed Services Committee
- Rep. Tom Reed (R-N.Y.), a member of the House Ways and Means Committee
“While we’ll always need as many DCs as possible in Washington for valuable face time with legislators, we realize that some simply can’t make the trip,” said ACA President Keith Overland, DC. “Our hope is that everyone who watches online will be inspired to become more active in advancing their profession through political advocacy.”

The American Chiropractic Association (ACA), celebrating its 50th year in 2013, is the largest professional association in the United States representing doctors of chiropractic.
