The American Chiropractic Association devotes a great deal of time and effort to the subject of Medicare. Not only is Medicare important in chiropractic practices throughout the nation, but the Medicare program and certain policies and procedures it uses serve as a model for many other insurer programs. These resources are not meant to be a comprehensive source of Medicare information on chiropractic services, but are intended to address many of the frequently asked questions from the chiropractic community. The policies, procedures, and regulations outlined in this section of the website were developed by the US Department of Health and Human Services and the Center for Medicare Studies (CMS). These policies, specifically as they relate to chiropractic coverage under Medicare, do not necessarily reflect the position of the ACA. |
