In an effort to continue open communication with insurers, the ACA has begun distributing a quarterly newsletter to representatives of the insurance industry. This newsletter includes information from interactions with insurers, prominent researchers, and ACA representatives on the AMA CPT HCPAC and RUC HCPAC.
We have also begun a telephone support program for insurers’ policy development and claims staff. Staff members in our Insurance Relations Department make periodic contact with insurance representatives to discuss concerns regarding chiropractic claims and to share any new ACA resources. Our goal is to simplify and expedite the claims process for both doctors of chiropractic and the insurance industry.
