Director of Professional Development

The Director of Professional Development provides a strong commitment and supportive environment to quality learning, training and innovation for professionals within chiropractic. Establishes effective partnerships to develop, implement and maintain high quality educational programming and resources. Provides well-coordinated activities and delivery of effective educational efforts consistent with licensing and certification requirements and in support of ACA’s strategic plan.

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Education Design, Public Health, Health care Administration, Organizational Development, Business or related field required. Master’s Degree desirable. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel. Understanding of or experience with learning management systems. Minimum 5 years of related experience in developing education programs. Minimum 1 years of managerial experience in a related function (preferred experience in health care groups or associations). Insurance Advocacy Specialist

American Chiropractic Association seeks a part-time insurance/medical billing professional to assist with provider/patient advocacy. Experience in insurance benefits, claims handling, billing, coding, and/or appeals necessary.

Bachelor's degree with 3+ years related experience, excellent analytical, writing, multi-tasking, organizational skills, and ability to work well within a team required. Membership Outreach Coordinator

Arlington health care association is seeking an experienced, team-oriented Membership Outreach Coordinator. The candidate will manage and support the association’s membership outreach program while providing administrative support to the association’s busy membership and marketing department.

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the association’s presence at state meetings. Responsibilities include fulfilling requests for materials from state representatives, travelling to state and national conventions to staff the ACA exhibit booth, assembling and coordinating shipments of marketing materials, coordinating promotion of the association’s presence through electronic messaging and the ACA website. Other duties include assisting with the coordination and implementation of membership recruitment and retention efforts and the day-to-day operations of the department.

Ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and two (2) years prior administrative experience. The candidate must be self-motivated, organized, possess excellent verbal, written, and time management skills, and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, and maintain data records with accuracy and thoroughness. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook are required. Must have excellent customer service skills and familiarity with Association Management Systems is a plus. This position requires 25% travel. Executive Assistant to the CEO

The American Chiropractic Association is seeking a highly experienced and professional Executive Assistant to the CEO. This high level position requires a significant knowledge of senior management responsibilities and what is necessary of an Executive Assistant in support of the CEO as required and directed. In addition to CEO support, senior experience in board of directors meeting management and organizational governance responsibilities are required.

A bachelor’s degree is required to be considered for this opportunity. Three to five years at a minimum in a similar capacity or equivalent relevant experience is needed for serious consideration.
