Director of Professional Development

The Director of Professional Development provides a strong commitment and supportive environment to quality learning, training and innovation for professionals within chiropractic. Establishes effective partnerships to develop, implement and maintain high quality educational programming and resources. Provides well-coordinated activities and delivery of effective educational efforts consistent with licensing and certification requirements and in support of ACA’s strategic plan.

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Education Design, Public Health, Health care Administration, Organizational Development, Business or related field required. Master’s Degree desirable. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel. Understanding of or experience with learning management systems. Minimum 5 years of related experience in developing education programs. Minimum 1 years of managerial experience in a related function (preferred experience in health care groups or associations). Demonstrated knowledge through direct experience of learning concepts, training and development methods and techniques. Knowledge of and functional competency with all other electronic devices and methods used to deliver educational programs and assess their outcomes. Insurance Advocacy Specialist

American Chiropractic Association seeks a part-time insurance/medical billing professional to assist with provider/patient advocacy. Experience in insurance benefits, claims handling, billing, coding, and/or appeals necessary.

Bachelor's degree with 3+ years related experience, excellent analytical, writing, multi-tasking, organizational skills, and ability to work well within a team required.
