Standard Process Sponsors Four SACA Scholarships
In conjunction with ACA’s 2010 National Chiropractic Legislative Conference (NCLC) next year in Washington, D.C., Standard Process will award four $2,500 SACA scholarships. Please see the criteria for submissions below.
Criteria:
- Cumulative G.P.A of 2.5 or higher (provide copy of transcript)
- Applicant must be a SACA member in good standing
- Provide a CV of your contributions to the chiropractic profession, to the college, and to the community
- Letter of recommendation
- Write a 500-750 word essay on the following topic: With the wellness movement gaining momentum in the United States, many chiropractors feel the profession should lead the “Wellness revolution.” If you agree, please explain “How you think chiropractic should be involved in the wellness movement and what role does whole food nutrition play.” If you do not agree please explain.
The deadline for entries is Jan. 29, 2010 at 5 p.m. (PT). Entries may be e-mailed to mblarsen@standardprocess.com or mailed to 1200 W. Royal Lee Drive, Palmyra WI, 53156 Attn: Mary Beth Larsen, DC. The scholarships will be awarded at NCLC on Feb. 24, 2010. Entrants must be present to win.
The American Chiropractic Foundation (ACF) Scholarship Awards
The American Chiropractic Foundation (ACF) of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) will be accepting applications for the Fall 2010 scholarship beginning Spring 2010. The awards recognize academic excellence and provide financial assistance to Student ACA (SACA) members enrolled in accredited chiropractic colleges.

Applicants must be a current Student ACA (SACA) member in good standing at an accredited chiropractic college in the United States.

A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.

The student must be attending school full-time and be in at least his or her second (2nd) year of study.
