The White House. Those looking to arrange a tour of the White House, the home of every U.S. President except George Washington, can contact their Congressional Representative up to six months in advance. Tours are scheduled Tuesday through Saturday from 7:30 am to 11:30 am.
The Washington National Cathedral is the world's six-largest cathedral. This gothic structure took 83 years to construct and includes magnificent stained-glass windows and elaborate gardens. Services are held daily.
