NCLC Education Seminars Highly Beneficial, Note Attendees
On March 1 and 2, over 80 doctors from the DC metro area and nationwide came together to learn about topics that will benefit their patients and practices. On March 1, Susan McClelland, BS, CCA, FICC presented the ACA turnkey program, "Coding and Clinical Documentation for the Chiropractic Practice: Strategies for Success.*" Participants learned current, accurate information about when to use specific codes, how to properly code for services and what information to capture in a patient’s record to ensure quality care for patients while also providing accurate reporting to insurers.
Additionally, on March 2, Thomas O'Bryan, DC, CCN, DABCN kicked off a year-long tour of his signature presentation, "Unlocking the Mysteries of Gluten Sensitivity: Musculoskeletal and Neurological Complications.**" This program provided over 70 pages of research demonstrating the prevalence of gluten sensitivities and intolerance in our modern bodies/diet, discussing how to recognize, diagnose and ultimately how to alter the diet to remove gluten thereby improving health and reversing common chronic conditions.
The seminars were offered in partnership with the Virginia Chiropractic Association and the District of Columbia Chiropractic Association, and attendees noted that both programs were highly beneficial and provided interesting and engaging learning opportunities.
