Head-Eye-Vestibular-Motion (HEVM) Therapy Affects the Mental and Physical Health of Severe Chronic Concussion Patients

The presentation describes the comprehensive neurological examinations including measurement of eye and head movement necessary in the diagnosis and treatment of post-concussion syndrome (PCS). It also embraces objective testing instruments that might be used in pre- and post-measurements of outcome of head-eye vestibular motion (HEVM) therapy.  Participants will learn how to obtain objective validated measurement of physical and mental health characteristics of their patients that have suffered head injuries and how to design an appropriate rehabilitation program.

Management of Common Infant Conditions: Colic, Nursing Dysfunction and Reflux

Colic, nursing dysfunction, and reflux are three of the most common infant complaints presenting to the doctor of chiropractic. Through the use of case examples and current research, this presentation dives into the treatment of these conditions, including important history questions, examination techniques, treatment tools and management plans.

The purpose of this course is to provide doctors of chiropractic and their office staff training on proper documentation for Medicare of chiropractic services. Specifically, attendees will receive guidance on: chiropractic billing and documentation concepts, requirements for demonstrating medical necessity, determining coverage based upon Medicare requirements and addressing various issues that will help decrease claim submission errors.
